Paragraph # Main Idea/Summary 1 The way an individual interprets things, such as movies, is based upon their opinions and ideas. 2 There were a lot of mixed emotions surrounding the movie Twilight after it was released, and the movie reviews written about it reflect those confused feelings. 3 The target audience and their thoughts are clear after reading this specific review, fellow twilight haters explaining why they thought the movie was bad. 4 Romance is a genre where the plot revolves around the highs and lows of love and relationships. 5 The emotional appeal from the movie was strong enough to impact this person and convinced them write a review on it based on the fact that they felt that emotion in their heart. 6 Movie reviews can often be pulled in two different directions depending on the writer’s personal feelings. 7 A counter-argument has the ability to make your writing pieces even more powerful. 8 Movie reviews have their own types...

There are so many different types of textual genres in our society today, it makes it almost impossible to choose just three. There can be found anywhere from your own bedroom to a supermarket, they can be read or even heard. Some have obvious meanings behind them and some may be hidden but they all have a target audience. Their main goal is to reach their target audience and have some type of impact on them, whether it be just for a minute or for a lifetime. I never even really paid attention to the fact that genre can have so many different types besides just music or movies. We are very lucky today to have access to so many different types of websites that allows us to: do, find, see, hear, etc…. so many different things. One genre of websites that are available to us are “Genre Generators”, which depending on the topic, can give you so many answers and possibilities. You simply fill out a couple questions, usually 5 at the most, and it gives you exactly what you are looking for. There are dozens of generators for us to choose from these days, it’s crazy. Can’t decide on a movie to watch? Well, don’t worry about that because there’s a generator for it! Don’t know what imaginary name to give yourself if you happened to find yourself in the Game of Thrones series? Well, don’t worry about that either because there just so happens to be a generator for that too!
